She/her

I am an artist and art educator born and raised in Austin, TX. I was first introduced to clay at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating I became a resident artist at the former Taos Clay studio where I met my husband, Andrew Klotz. I've taught art in a variety of settings for over a decade and now teach high school Art 1 and Ceramics in Pflugerville. My husband and I prep and load the soda kiln at the East Side Pot shop where we glaze and fire our work. I've been obsessively making armadillos for the past year or so and I am excited to keep making more of them. I will have lots of armadillos for sale at the GACA studio tour this year; earrings, salt cellars, butter dishes, and more! Hope to see you there!
