I make sculptural ceramic forms and installations that explore change, accumulation, and the evidence transformation leaves behind. The work is often built in parts: stacked, bound, repeated, or gathered into forms that feel familiar before they can be named. Clay matters to this inquiry because it carries evidence. Pressure remains, and fire, ash, and atmosphere leave marks I can influence but never fully control. Increasingly, I place work outdoors, where weather, plants, insects, and human touch continue to alter it. These changes are not damage; they are part of the work. I am interested in creating conditions rather than controlling outcomes, and in what happens to a thing as much as how it begins.
