At Casa Colibrí, we create wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics in Austin, Texas that balance beauty, function, and everyday ritual. Our work is shaped by a love of color, texture, play, and the beauty we find across art, nature, and daily life, resulting in pieces that feel both intentional and alive.

Lately, our work has become more focused. Juan has been developing wheel-thrown coffee pour overs with matching carafes that brew about four cups, along with matching coffee mugs. His pieces often explore texture and striking color. Olivia has been working with porcelain and cinco rojo clay while creating bedside carafes with fitted cup-lids and animal-lidded jars. Her work is bright, joyful, and made to bring a sense of playfulness to everyday life.
