As my style continues to develop and evolve overtime. I’m drawn to simplicity—clean lines and forms that highlight the beauty of the material itself. Neutral glaze tones often serve as the foundation for my pieces, I often incorporate pops of color, which adds a layer of brightness to my work. I enjoy exploring the use of clay additives to achieve the perfect speckle in my ceramics. The quest for the ideal speckle involves trying different materials, clays and plenty of wedging. I recognize that there is always more to learn in pottery. As I look to the future, I am excited to continue refining my skills.
