Studio Space for Rent in SE Austin
Studio space for rent in SE Austin starting in April! We have an opening in our shared garage studio space! The space is approximately 8’x8’ and cost is $300 per month and includes:
• 24/7 access to studio
• access to electric kilns with a reasonable amount of firing included
• a variety of cone 6 dipping glazes available for use
• shared access to a Brent 14” slab roller
• shared access to a Shimpo VL Whisper wheel, a Shimpo VL Lite, and Giffin Grip
• clay sink
• Wi-Fi
While the equipment of the space is provided and shared, the individual workspaces are mostly unfurnished. Artists should plan to provide their own worktable, shelves, tools, and clay.
We are looking for artists that are experienced enough to work in clay on their own and do not need instruction, however we will give you an orientation of the particulars of our studio space, equipment, and glazes.
The home and studio belong to myself and my partner, who is also a ceramic artist. The garage studio space is shared between three artists, while I work out of a separate studio building in the backyard.
